TAAJ Agro is a Nigerian agro allied company that cultivates majorly cassava, which is intercropped with maize and soya beans for companies producing high grade food starch and flour. We also process ginger, tumeric, and hot pepper, while a dedicated area of the farm is also used for cattle ranching.
TAAJ AGRO LIMITED is a registered commercial farming company in Kwara State, that operates a fully owned 114.5 hectares of farm lands (TAAJ AGRO FARMS) in Ballah, ASA Local Government Area of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. We commenced cultivation in 2016, demand for our crops has now grown and we are partnering with out-growers within 20km radius to close the supply gap
We have put innovative plans in place that will help us launch a standard and world-class processing plant within the first five years of officially running TAAJ AGRO FARMS. We will produce high grade food starch, powdered spices (ginger, tumeric and pepper), and animal feeds with existing off-takers.
We want to compete with the best in the industry, which is why aside from the fact that we have secured the required farmland and most of the farming and processing equipment and machines, we have also hired some key employees who will form part of our 21st century commercial farming workforce.
We are in the commercial farming business because we want to leverage on the vast opportunities available in the commercial farming industry to contribute our quota in growing the Nigerian economy in national food production, raw materials production for industries, exportation of agricultural produce from Nigeria to other countries and over and above, to make profit.
