In order to meet the demand for food consumption in Nigeria based on the worldwide poverty index, TAAJ AGRO NIGERIA decided to acquire 114.5 hectares of farmland to cultivate /process crops and rear animal. This is our own quota in support of all efforts geared towards poverty alleviation in Nigeria.
The crops we produce at the moment are cassava, soya beans and maize. We also process top quality dry ground ginger powder, tumeric and pepper. Our animal husbandry is limited to cow rearing, while we hope to produce high grade food starch and animal feeds with existing off-takers.
TAAJ Agro currently cultivates on this sized farmland in Ajuwon village in Asa local government area of Kwara State Nigeria using latest mechanised technology, and another 100 ha from out-growers who we have established binding contract arrangements with so we are always sure of our produce supply.
